The following filk to the popular Renaissance dance
tune "Hole in the Wall" was written by
the notorious Malagentian bard Muirin ni Clerigh, on the occasion
of Twig's purchase of a new
Freegate Armory Crossbow. Muirin's performance of Holes in the
Wall won First Place
in the Filk category at the Northern Lights Arts and Science
Pentathlon 2003.

Sitting in the living room,
Unaware of coming doom;
Suddenly a crashing boom
Made us all fall!
Oh, little did we know;
Twig, in early twilights glow,
Thought it a fine time to blow
Holes in the wall.
SCAdians with sense all run
When he is out having fun;
They go into hiding
Until hold is called.
Can't you see I'm down on my knees?
Point him to a target, oh please!
So he can stop making these
Holes in the wall.
Once our lives were filled with calm,
Then the crossbow came along!
Now he does his targets wrong,
Having a ball.
Hear his laughter full of glee,
Then watch everybody flee;
He's about to make more of these
Holes in the wall.
SCAdians with sense all run
When he is out having fun;
They go into hiding
Until hold is called.
Can't you see I'm down on my knees?
Point him to a target, oh please!
So he can stop making these
Holes in the wall...
